Mary Kay Sun-Kissed #MKGLAM

Back in the days I remember my mom using Mary Kay products and seeing those cute pale pink looking cars driving around town. When I found out that i'd be testing out some products from Mary Kay, I was a little reserved as my memories were of "older" people using those products. I figured if they loved, maybe I would too =). I'm always up for trying new things. Here is a look I posted on instagram @rosemarie627 a few days ago using the products I received in my Mary Kay Sun-Kissed Voxbox:

All products by Mary Kay:

EYES---
Cream Eye Color- Apricot twist $14
I normally do not like cream based eyeshadows or blush but this, I like.  It was the normal cream consistency but what I LOVE about this is that it dries quickly making it easy to apply over this cream even better. I have been grabbing this daily since I received it because I am ALWAYS in a rush. This helps to give me some color and glow and it's effortless. The color is more like a peach with bronze. Can be applied using the Cream Eye Color/Concealer Brush I mention below.

Lash Love Mascara- I heart Black $15
I personally wear waterproof mascara on a daily basis but I always make an exception for fast drying mascaras. This mascara was fast drying and it applied evenly onto my lashes. It took me 2 coats to get the results I needed. I like plastic wands over brush wands. They always seem to help with the effect I go for which is length, volume, and that lift. This does just all that.

Gel Eyeliner with expandable brush applicator-  Jet black $18
I really do love gel liners but I always feel like I never have the time to apply it.
I love that this gel eyeliner came with a brush applicator. It's cute and perfect sized to be placed into a makeup bag. This eyeliner has intense color payoff. My lids always tend to make my eyeliner transfer and it's so annoying! Unfortunately, this did transfer onto my lower lashline especially in the inner corner of my eye.

FACE---
Mineral Cheek Color- Shy Blush $12
This blush reminds me of NARS Orgasm. It has a peachy pink color with golden shimmer and sheen. There is quite a lot of fall out but it stays on for a good 6 hour day. It has good color payoff and is also quite buildable.

Translucent Loose Powder- $16
I am not the biggest fan of translucent loose powders as they always make my face lighter so I normally opt for tinted powders. If you like translucent powders then this would be for you. It did the job of controlling shine throughout my 8 hour day. I have combination normal to oily skin. I also like the option to close the holes in the packaging. It helps with traveling and transporting makeup.

Bronzing Powder- Light/Medium $18
Unfortunately, this shade was way too light for me to use as a bronzer. It has alot of shimmer and as a bronzer to give you an added glow. Being that I have oily skin, adding more shimmer on my face is not something that I like to do.

LIPS---
NouriShine Plus Lip Gloss- Mango Tango $14
It has a nice sweet scent that reminds me of syrup. This lipgloss is not too sticky and the color is beautiful. It is blendable and you really don't need much.

BRUSHES---
Cream Eye Color/Concealer Brush $10
Used to apply Cream Eye Color- Apricot twist.

Powder Brush $16
Love the look of this brush. It looks very high-end quality. It has a matte looking brush handle. It's a bit rough on the skin.
